Alena Boczek - Media Relations
Alena Boczek was born and raised in Wasaga Beach, Ontario where she developed her love of fresh air and sand and an interest in green initiatives.  A current student at the University of Guelph-Humber studying public relations, she enjoys running, tweeting, dancing (badly) – and sometimes at the same time. She has volunteered for Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders, and the Green Living Show. Alena is inspired by the universality and influential knowledge-community created by TEDx events.
 
Ashley Boucher - Sponsorship
Ashley has been an active volunteer since the age of 14. Currently, Ashley volunteers at ShelterBox Canada, assists the Whippersnapper Gallery and works at UforChange as a prospect researcher.  Ashley is completing the Fundraising and Volunteer Management Graduate program at Humber College, where one of her proudest accomplishments was acting as the Sponsorship Committee Chair for the Humber Initiative.  She wants to continue enriching the lives of individuals for years to come.

Chris Dionne - Volunteers
Chris Dionne is a recent Humber PR grad with an interest in social media and technology. A past Disney Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Resort, Chris enjoys hot yoga, theatre and geeking out over TED talks. A loyal TED enthusiast, some of his favourite speakers include Naomi Klein and Dave Eggers. Chris recently joined the team at North Strategic, a new communications agency based in Toronto.
 
Frankie Chow - Sponsorship 
Frankie has more than 10 years' volunteer and professional experience in the not-for-profit sector.   After earning his Honours BA in East Asian Studies and a minor in Philosophy and Classical Studies at the University of Toronto, he went on to complete a Fundraising and Volunteering Management Certificate Program at George Brown College. Currently, Frankie is enrolled in a graduate program in Fundraising and Volunteer Management at Humber College.  In the past year alone, he's been involved with Movember Canada and Dine in the Dark.  As part of the fundraising committee for TEDxHumberCollege, Frankie looks forward to utilizing his experience and knowledge to help TEDxHumberCollege become the most amazing student-led event at Humber.  
 
Katrina King - Speakers
Katrina King has an Honours BA in Communications with an Administration Option from Wilfrid Laurier University and is currently obtaining her Public Relations Certificate at Humber College. She has a conscience for social change and a passion for cultural communication and its social, political, and economic dimensions. She is also an avid runner and enjoys horseback riding. She currently works at Sick Kids Hospital.
 
Kelsey Ingram - Logistics
Kelsey Ingram grew up in Peterborough, Ontario where she played ice hockey, sang in many choirs and performed in local musical theatre productions. An avid traveler, Ingram majored in Urban Studies at Columbia University in New York and is a Humber College post-graduate student. In her spare time, you can find Kelsey practicing her golf swing, singing a Broadway tune or dreaming up her next project.
 
Michèle Pearson Clarke - Curation
Michèle is a graduate of the Humber College PR program.  Prior to enrolling at Humber, she spent seven years at Sherbourne Health Centre where she developed and implemented strategic communications and media outreach campaigns to promote LGBT health and wellness in Ontario.  Michèle received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Queen's University in 1996 and she completed her Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Toronto in 2001.

Radha Tailor - Logistics
If there are three things that captivate Radha Tailor, it's food, performing arts and technology. Radha is a freelance journalist with TDJ Corps., better known as the Toronto Downtown Jazz. She is a post-graduate student at Humber College studying journalism and is also attending the Summer Broadcast Institute at Seneca College. She studied mathematics at Queen's University, but her interest in journalism began in 2007 when she began reporting with Rogers TV Peel.
 
Sarah Dawson - Chair & Stakeholder Relations
Sarah hails from rural Ontario, in a town that races turtles.  In search of bigger ponds, she's lived in Lake Louise, Alberta and on Magnetic Island in Australia.   Sarah has a degree in IDS from Dalhousie University in Halifax.  A recent graduate of the Humber PR program, Sarah was voted by her classmates Most Likely to Rule the World.  For now, she is happily in her current public affairs role.  She likes cheese, sarcasm and colourful scarves.  She lends her time to volunteerism, morning dawdling and running.  She is an avid consumer of TED and TEDx talks. 
 
Shelley Burgoyne - Sponsorship
Nerdy, political and artistic would sum up Shelley quite nicely.  Currently the Director of Public Affairs at AWK Global, she is a graduate of the Humber PR graduate program.  An east coaster by birth, Shelley grew up in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia with a brief stint in Iceland.  She studied theatre at Dalhousie University in Halifax after catching the acting bug, but now spends her time indulging her travel bug instead. Though her friends call her a one-woman travelling show. 
 
Stella Lee - Design
Stella graduated from Queen's University, spent a summer in Europe and after finishing a grad certificate at Humber College finds herself doing public relations at an international trampoline company.  Her favourite hobbies include photography, discovering Toronto and theatre. Stella channels her love of musicals through Angelwalk Theatre, a professional theatre company for which she is the Marketing Coordinator.  A self-proclaimed Photoshop addict, Stella loves to get her creative juices flowing, especially when digital design is involved.
